江戸時代から珍重される和の高級家具材
深い緑の縞模様があり、加工性が良く磨くと光沢が出てくる。耐水、耐虫郷土があり日本に存在する桜の中でも最も品質が良いとされる。江戸時代の浮世絵や書籍印刷版木はヤマザクラで作られた。現代でも高級家具、ピアノ外装、仏壇材料に使われ国会議事堂の本会議室机に使われる。
黄色、緑色、薄いピンクが点在して色々な色を持っているが、時間が経つにつれ飴色に変化していく

There is a deep green striped pattern, and gloss comes out when it is polished with good processability. It is said that the quality is the best among the cherry blossoms that exist in Japan with water resistant and insecticidal homeland. Ukiyo-e prints and book printing wood in the Edo period were made of Yamazakura. In modern times it is also used for luxury furniture, piano exterior, altar material and the main conference room desk of the parliament building.
It has various colors with yellow, green and light pink scattered, but it changes to candy as time passes
