A tree with a faint rose scent

A wood with an indescribable color: brown with a subtle reddish hue. When polished, it develops a beautiful, subdued sheen. It is highly durable, resistant to pests and decay, and easy to work with. As its name, which includes “rose,” suggests, freshly felled or sawn wood has a faint rose scent.
