Mysterious tree where the precision of the forest resides

Jindai wood is partially carbonized buried timber that has been buried for hundreds to thousands of years by earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, and other events. Cut off from oxygen, it has not rotted due to bacteria or insects, making it an exceptionally rare and valuable wood. When carbonization continues for tens of thousands of years, it becomes coal. Elms feature prominently in myths and folk tales around the world and are said to be home to spirits of the forest. They are distinguished by the mystical hues and distinctive grain characteristic of jindai wood.
